Let’s paint the town in food and art!

By  |

“It is absurd to give food a nationality or a citizenship. Food belongs to those who appreciate it.

Following the first food and travel bloggers’ conference that was hosted on the 20th of February by Dubai Food Festival care of Dubai Tourism, the bandwagon of bloggers, event organizers and supporting members of the team headed out to Street 4B at Al Quoz to witness a rather artsy transformation of the ‘streets’.

To reiterate, I cannot thank the team at Dubai Tourism enough for organizing this event which created a platform for many bloggers to connect and share their experiences with (including this six month old blogger infant. By the way, I’m teething now). Nissan was generous enough to dot the vibrant and curious streets with vehicles that could be painted on by people passing by or even by the artists themselves. Pop ups and food stalls were established as well to strike a balance between food, art and entertainment.

Unfortunately our time at Street Nights (From 20th to 21st February ’15) was quite limited but I was able to capture some of the moments and participating food establishments even though it meant having to shoot unprepared under dim lighting.
